AUB Student, Ashley Lashley, the reigning Miss World Barbados, brought together representatives from across the globe to discuss and share their experiences in combating NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases). Countries as far as USA, China, Zimbabwe, Canada, Nigeria alongside Grenadines and St. Vincent were all represented.

The US Ambassador to Barbados stated that the youth participation in the fight can stem the fight. The one-day International Conference marks a significance milestone centered on keeping the fight alive.
